Putting Exhaust On -- have questions for the Rotary Godss

Putting on the Racing beat Streetport exhaust on my GSL-SE.

On this exhaust setup there is no place for the 02 sensor. Is this ok or will my computer think strang things.

Also what do I do with the small metal line that ran from the cat back up to the motor?
I will try and post a pic of these two lines.

Thanks for the help

I have the exact exhuast on my SE also. You will need to have an exhaust place weld in a O2 sensor bung onto the header section to bolt the O2 sensor. Otherwise your ECU will not know if the AF ratio is on par. You will be taking off air pump and ACV I asuume, you'll also need the block off plate. (While you are at it, order a double sheaved alt pulley from manntis (cheaper than the RB one I have) cuz your water pump belt will slip at higher RPM's). As far those 2 lines are concerned, one of them (smaller one) is for vacuum to open your 5th and 6th ports. You'll need to tap the header again to supply this vaccum for the 5th and 6th ports. The other line comes out of the rear part of the lower intake manifold is for air pumped thru the ACV by the air pump to supply the cat with more air for a cleaner burn. SInce you will remove the air pump and ACV, just cap the outlet there and there should be no problems. Whne I got my exhaust, I just took my header to Mazdatrix and they did those mods to the header for $60, you can do it cheaper. I just had no clue back then....

if you bought it from RB it should've had the o2 port on the header and they have a presilencer with a hookup for the actuators... huh looks like you got screwed...

RB streetport exhaust doesn't have a O2 sensor bung or line for the fifth and sixth ports.

I ordered mine from Mazdatrix also. Less than $10 bucks for it IIRC.

Hope you get it installed soon!
