pulsing/surging... pt II

I really don't want to drag this whole thread back from the dead, so I'll just ref ithttps://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hlight=surging) It was pretty hot for a while and then just petered off...

Did anyone ever find a source for the vent solenoid valve? Did anyone ever find a definitive cure other than the vent solenoid valve?

My car has settled down and hasn't surged anymore in quite a while. It won't do it when I want it to. It waits until I'm nice and comfy - thinking it's gone away for good - and then bam "I'm back!" And something I forgot to mention before, mine seems to do it when there's a transition in the weather. I can almost forecast with it!

You could probably get it from the stealer, however a cheaper alternative would be checking the Parts for sale section on this forum or www.thepartstrader.com for people parting out GSL-SE's.

Nope, I tested what the Mitchell manual told me to test, to verify it was the Vent Solenoid. That told me that was problem. I found a used Solenoid and replaced mine. A few weeks later now it hasn't occured once. Problem solved.

Good luck finding one.
