PSA: Personal steering wheel hub for FC doesn't fit

I finally got around to putting on a Nardi wheel on to my car with a hub I bought off eBay. It's for an 86 RX-7, and while it fits on to the shaft, the hub doesn't reach the column at all, and the contact piece for the horn doesn't reach at all, making it inoperable. The hub's a "solid" type, doesn't have the soft boot.

That is all.

Ok. Thanks for sharing? Who told you that a S4 steering wheel adapter would work on a 1st gen?

When I searched prior to buying, a lot of threads said FC and first gen Miatas hubs would fit.
