The sad thing is at school when some one says a close person to them got in a car wreck the first thing that comes to mind is the car ok!? My friends dad got in a wreck ( i love their saab!) and the first thing i asked was is the saab alright...

Obviously youve not heard of the "sideshow" phenomenon that occurs around here.Its not street racing at all for the most part,its urban youths and punks hanging out,trying to one-up each other and impress other stupid people.Yes there are some races,and thats when innocent people get hurt.

But these guys are participants.They INTENTIONALLY WALK AND DANCE AROUND CARS THAT ARE DOING DONUTS AND BURNOUTS!!!!!THEY MOVE AROUND AND SLAP THE BUMPERS AND HIGH FIVE THE DRIVERS AS THEY PERFROM.THEY STAND IN THE STREET WHILE CARS FLY BY,INCHES FROM THEIR DRUNK BODIES.
You still think he's a pedestrian and has the right of way?...wrong...hes just as responsible as the guy driving the car,which is why police have started arresting/impounding anyone even PRESENT at a sideshow.Trust me,these gathering have little to do with "car culture"....
