The above is the only thing I have questions on.
The regulator, is that a 1:1 ratio regulator? 1:1 is what you are looking for.
Bosch coils, It has been proven that FC coils are damn good units. If AJC-13B could light his mega HP engine off with a set of stock FC coils that is good enough for all of us I have yet to experience any misfires under boost with mine plus you can get them for next to nothing
Widebody, Talk to MIKE-P-28 about his. They scrape everywhere! If this is going to be a true street car then you might not be happy with a widebody. I know I woulden't. I like to drive my car not fix bodywork
17" wheels, Just my opinion, they are too big for the little FB/SA. Almost any big *** brake upgrade will fit behind a 16" wheel. Speaking of brakes... I have -se brakes all around with the braided lines, they work great for regular driving but when you go to stop quick after a quick blast to 120 they aren't the best. Granted I have stock rotors and pads. I'm sure a set of sloted rotors would do my car a lot of good.
From what I understand, yeah thats a 1:1 regulator. As for the coils, theyre included with the ECU, but I suppose I could just go snag some FC coils from a yard if theyre gonna be "better". The widebody is planned because Ive got a good deal lined up for one so I can actually afford it, and I need to replace one of my fenders, and my bumper cover anyway. Besides, Ive always kinda liked them . And you know, last night I was thinking about the wheels, and I think Im gonna go with something different. Im thinking something 16x8 for the widebody, and Ill just sell the Michelin Pilots that I have for the 17x7 wheels and use the money for something else, lol. Hell, they were free, so anything more than that is profit
Want to get a sjump start on your project? Just come and buy mine, that will give you a hell of a start. I just dont have time to fool with it anymore.
How much are you looking to get from it? Oh really? Way more than I could afford? Oh, ok . I actually would LOVE to buy a completed car like yours Mike, because then I could have the car done, yet still enjoy slowly building my car up to what I want it, but with a NA ported engine instead. But, unless you take LOTS of payments, I dont think I could ever afford it .

Building your own car is more fun than buying one thats already done IMO. As for brakes, if you think you'll be fine then go for it. Personally that just stuck out like a sore thumb when looking at your list. Good luck dude.

Well, it looks like Im gonna need low 12 second to mid 11 second 1/4 mile times to make my project live up to its name...

1998 Dodge Viper GTS-R

2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10

Looks like Im gonna need about 350 RWHP or so... I can make that happen, I KNOW it .

Heh, you mustve missed the news bro. My car was stolen and stripped. I have no HP . I would guess that it was close to 130 at the wheels though.

Hmm, its not as bad of a price as I expected, but still more than I can afford. By the time I get the settlement Im expecting, Ill most likely have the rest saved. So, if its still for sale then, Ill think about it .

Or, Ill end up deciding to just build mine. Hell, its hard to plan things so far in advance. I have a general idea of what I want to do, but so many things can change between now and then its not even funny, lol. Im just gonna play it by ear and aim for my Viper Killer goal, and see where I end up, lol. Baby steps...Baby steps.

I think Im gonna buy the supplies to paint the engine bay soon, so that will be done and out of the way. After that, I think Im gonna build the sub box and amp rack for the back hatch so that when I buy all the wiring to redo the electrical system and relocate the battery, Ill know how long I need my wires to be. Then, Ill buy the wiring to relocate the battery and re-wire the electrical system (starter, alternator, fuseable links, etc) using all new wires. Then, Ill probably start on brakes or suspension...Who knows.

Yo... hey man don't think cars is a bad investment... they make you happy and it's a direct proportion to how much time and money you have in them... unlike that stupid bitch over at Taco Del Mar...

No he isn't, he's all talk. I don't think it's possible to want to sell a turbo FB after driving it. He just needs to take it out again so he'll feel all warm a fuzzy inside it's been too long.

Just put a V8 in it.

Congrats on the new job and upcoming project. But if you'd like to save time as well as money, just put a V8 into it. I raced a Viper GTS on the highway from roughly 55 to 120mph and pulled him by at least 3 car lengths, not alot, but respectable from a stock looking FB making approx. 300HP at the wheels. Just an idea. Good Luck!

I will personally be inpressed if you can build a 13B to run to 180 with a Viper. That's a good 400hp motor at least. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

400hp isn't hard to get with stock ports if you ditch the stock turbo for a larger one.
