That wing is great, man(as far as what it's meant to be, RICE). I love how you used scrap metal for it! The front end looks better than I would imagine from the discription, quite unique, putting mazda, GM and Ford parts all together.

you should be killed for putting that hideous front end on that perfectly good rx!! I must say the wing isn't half bad, but the front end is horrible. AND YOU RIVETED IT ON!!!! horrible, just horrible.

Hey, at least he's right out front with his intentions. Of course, I'd prefer if a 7 weren't done that way - but I can see the humor in it

Ha ha ha that's the funniest Rx-7 I've seen in ahile. I like the old hood job more, it had character.

Now that I know what the car is for I think it's hilarious, don't worry guys it's not like he went out and tore down some mint FB for this project. Mad props on the 80's racing paint scheme.....that thing better have and underbody neon kit when you're done yO

yea, its sooo horrible i love it. i think thats the whole point for it to be sumwhat of a mockery of the real hardcore ricers.. my friend has an old like 82 civic POS we spray bombed it but duct tape racign stripe on is.. cut some cardboard in an "X" shape and wrapped it in tinfoil and stuck it to the rims the whole deal it was pretty funny. lots "TURBO" stickers and stuff

I'm not mocking the mazda's, i actually like them. I have always been a diehard chevy person, but i have been expanding my horizons. The rx7 is lighter weight and better handling than the domestics that i was looking at. I want it to look funny, but i want it to run like hell and take the turns in an auto-x.
This car did not have any decent sheet metal on it anywhere, rust holes, bondo, and dents. Hell, i even posted parts for free on this board awhile back and gave parts away to people.

well its not nearly as bad as what we did to a z28 at my buddies.

totally made it look white trash "as if the car needed any help"

alot of people were pissed at that.

dont see why, it was an f-body and its not like you cant get one at every wal-mart around. even the party stores carry em there so common.
or maybe you can borrow one from a guy on your street. since theres a guy on every street who has one.

I could understand if the car was fast and rare, maybe even handled good?

Ok ok, I can see the humor. If you need help, let me know. Have I got a sesnse of humor! My buddy was out of town and left his dirtbike in my garage. A few too many beers and this is what happened.

The training wheels are WELDED to the axle and are supporting the bike. My other buddy and I were laughing so hard I almost puked! He knows not to leave anything with me anymore.

I like the bike toughguy, you can work on my cars cosmetics any day!

Here is a sticker kit i bought for the rx7:

I bought from mazdatrix a poly bushing set, eventually better shocks and springs. The motor will be just fine, that piece is not really a load bearing piece, mainly holds the starter - it will be stronger that new when it is welded. We have a lot of people who talk tough, but i'm aiming for 10's in the 1/4 and still being a auto-x terror. (the lt1 brakes that are going on there dwarf the stock brakes)

Ok but wasup with the windshield and the side window? You didn't paint them did you? The stickers work but you need something that will take up the whole rear window. Something not even remotely connected with cars, like a big NIKE swoosh. And don't forget the interior accents as well. You need the goofy bright colored steering wheel cover and floor mats. Also, nothing says rice like those seatbelt covers that say MOMO or SPARCO etc...
Neon green wipers will also score big ricer points as well. Never mind paying $1000+ for a DVD player and LCD screen, just mount a VCR with an old Commodore 64 monitor in the back powered by a cheap *** power inverter.

i didn't bother to tape off the windows - that's what razor blades and paint thinner is for. As for the interior - it is gutted, cage and 5 point harness - all bussiness (no radio etc).
