That clear coat sure is unsightly when it gets the smallest chip and then delaminates. Clear coat has to be one of the all time worst car ideas

I thought that the stocker wieghed about 15. That what it felt like to me when I changed them out. Oh well. The site dosnt say the wieght of them it just says how they are made. I still cant fid the site that makes the CF driveshafts anywhere.

Clearcoat does suck at life. The paint I am going to paint it with is a clear and paint mix, it needs to be put on thicker but you will never have to worry about pealing anmore.

Yes I was pissed. Like I am gonna find the guy who ran it over and run over his whole car pissed.

There are a couple of other 85s up here foe sale. I real nice silver GSL for sale. I cant remember how much though.

hahahahaha after like 2 hours of searching this is the place that can make the CF driveshafts. Its a custom job but it would be well worth it.

Ok a few question again before my aol runs out again. And then I get DSL so I dont care.

When installing the RB intake you do remove those to brass bolts right.

And I am ordering those spring perches and stuff off of the machineist. There is a thread about it. And what would be a good spring to run in thae front and back with this setup, and what kind of shocks. When it comes to suspensions I am about as usful as a retard in a spelling contest.

Alex,
Your car dosnt look so bad..better than mine when I started painting it etc etc. Your doing a lot of stuff to this car. I would suggest not going with a CF shaft the benifits are small compared to the cost. You would feel more benifit from a electric cooling fan and its a lot cheaper. Unless your u joints are shot and you cant find a used shaft ( I have 2 spares). Check out mazspeed.com in the facts section great how to's there. I am using tokiko shocks on my 7 and love em,everyone has thier favorites though. I am in NY are you planning on driving this 7 up here in the winter? If you are I would skip all other mods and get studded snows. I've driven 7's in NY winters and let me say its a experience. If you like drifting 100% of the time it can be fun. Anyways good luck and hoped I helped some.

The stocker is GOTTA be more than 8-10. I have one in my garage right now, and it's gotta be at least 15lbs... Maybe a bit more...

Alex is in the hospital and he says high. He should be out in about 2-3 weeks. He messed up his leg that was messed up in an accident earlier this year. He wishes you all his best and Will get back to this project. I will e helping him also. He just hopes He can drive it after his leg gets better. The doctors are not sure if he will be able to though, thanks again.
