Hey everybody this is my first time in this forum. i have liked the first gen for a long time and i was just wondering how feasible it would be to put a series 5 13bt with a periphreal port in there. I was talking to rob at pineapple racing about a p port engine. I have 0 expierience with first gens but i like the look and think they look great with the right body mods as good as a stock series 5 even. Does the engine mount in the same places? Would i be able to use the whole series 5 drivetrain? Thats all i can think of right now thanks for your time hope to hear from you soon.

The engine and tranny mounts are different, but not terribly hard to modify.

 

Ohh i forgot to add that i want to go with dual weber blow thru's and id like to put it in a gsl-se cause of the limited slip diff.

 

The GSL's have LSD too, just an oddball bolt pattern.

What kind of turbo you plan to run with the blow throughs?

 

I dont know maybe a t60-1 or a little bigger. I might just order a hi performance turbo with the webers from mazdaracing.com. I dont want a lot of lag i just want a fast fb. I hope to hit mid to high 11's when the car is done.
