Power windows?????

Power windows?????
Ok I have a 82 gsl. Just tore the hole interior out to clean the carpet and redo some panels,ect..........windows worked,plugged them back in and now they wont do anything?!

Have you checked the fuses? Also made sure that everything is hooked up from inside the door and at the switch?

Also spray the window guides/rails on each side of the windows with a can of "silicone spray" from your local automotive store to help keep the power windows nice and lubed up, to prevent sticking

doesn't make sense. did the switches get wet from your cleaning or did you clean them with any solvents? i guess from that point check the fuse. if its good, check for 12V at the switchs' connectors.
