power windows???

power windows???

my power windows go down then they stop then you go up then go down its weird

Take the switches out of the center console; be careful not to break them or the panel they are hooked on. Be very careful! The plastic will be very brittle!
Clean the contacts on the switches with some dioelectric grease or some other non-combustible cleaner.
If that doesn't fix it, you must have bad wiring somewhere.

I hate my power windows. I wish I had manaul. they really need new motors, such a pain in the ***.

Yea my windows suck the big one also. Pulled out and cleaned out the switches (ish) and lubed the tracks with silicone grease. Still go slow up and down, in fact the window that i did lube the tracks goes slower than the other one. I think it's just cold maybe?

Lube the motor, clean all the contacts on the way from the switch to the motor, and get new windows rail seals.
