Power Window Problem

Hey first timer here,

I got my 7 (83 GSL) last fall basically the second I finished college, had a job, and could afford it. Rotaries have always held a special spot in my heart

Anyways. I was driving with the windows down recently, and now the passenger window doesn't want to go up. From what I can tell the rubber seals that go along the track are possibly loose and are hampering the window's movement along the track, which causes it to stick. I haven't had a chance to take the door apart to take a closer look, will do that this weekend, but would like to know as much as I can before I start.

Welcome to the forum.
Here is a link that may help with your problem.
https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-archive-71/electrical-slow-power-windows-need-read-521039/

That is the archive section of the forum for 1st gen owners. You will find alot of great things in there to reference.
The other section that would benefit you to read is the FAQ section.

Welcome to the forum and the Darkside.

The track inserts shrink and loosen with age which will cause the windows to bind. Keeping the window straight on it's way up will aid in closing it. blackdragonauto.com sells new ones. Be sure to order a catlogue from them.

In my sig line is a link to the online FSMs and other rotary related reading material. Download and read whatever you need.
