Power Window Adjustment
AFTER I searched the archives and "search" function, I decided to ask location assist on this.
After 24 years, my driver's side window seems to have come off the track on my '84 GSL-SE. It goes up to a point then stops about 3/4 up. The window seems to have shifted forward, which I assume means it has come off the track.
The archives instruct me how to install relays, and how to swap manual to power, but I am looking for a write up on how to remove the door panels and adjust the windows / regulators. If there is no write-up and someone would like to explain to me how to do this, I would GREATLY appreciate that as well !
Thanks in advance all...

The power windows tend to bind over time due to wear of the tracks and need of a good lube. Pull the door panel, clean with brake cleaner and lube the gears, rollers and tracks with white lithium spray lube. Check the screw that anchors the bottom of the front track, sometimes they loosen. I recommend replacing the glass run channels, as the get old and wear, they allow the glass to ****, then the window binds. I've found a good cleaning and lube usually takes care of the problem. Don't attempt adjustments until after lubing.
Glass run channels are listed on page 3 of the Black Dragon catalog, (winter 06 edition, issue RX.37), part #59-340, $39.95 each.
