Well i put the passenger switch to the driver window.........and it worked so it is the switch. But, I put the motor in when it was already half way down so when i try to roll the window down it stops itself because it thinks the window is all the way down so i have to take it out again and put everything in the right way.

Well it ended up being the wrong motor.......the gear was too small. The junkyard does not have anymore motors from fb's but he has a lot of fc's so does anybody know if i could put an fc window motor in a fb?

FYI, a window motor has 2 wires going to it, the way it goes up, and then reverses polarity via the window switch and the window goes down.
So it would be safe to say, it goes up or down, and not the other way, I would have to say its the switch. But you should test it, don't be a parts changer.

Take the switch apart and clean the contacts with a fine grain sand paper. I just did that the other day to my passenger side window switch. I was having the same problems...
Works great now!
