? on Power pulse assembly from racing beat

well i'm a newb to the car.........carbs and rotaries........anyway

this carbeurator has plenty of hoses coming out of it, and i dont know where to begin. i'm assuming i have to remove all smog control hoses and parts, which i plan on doing once i pass my emissions. of course there isnt any instructions for noobtards, so any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

edit: this is on my 79 12a........and is does removing the rats nest include taking off the carb heating hose?

You will want to remove the "rats nest". That is all the vacuum lines and solenoids. The how-to is here: http://www.ten15.net/Maz.tutorials/ You can find the link in the 1st gen FAQ.

thats a good tutorial IF you have an FB. The 79 and 80 emission control equipment is different. There's a semi- turorial like thing in the archives for info on how to remove it from a SA. Check it out.
