Hello everyone, I am looking into buying a 1st gen (previously owned a 87 TII and a 90GXL) and was wondering if any models came with power options i.e power windows,locks sunroof. Anything like on my 2 previous models. Also, I am looking to buy one, if anyone has a decent condition 1st gen, please let me know. Looking for one with low miles and a decent interior. Alsow ould prefer a black or grey interior. And must be a 5 speed. Also I would prefer location around Kentucky. Thanks Oh ya...a GSL-SE would be sweet

 

yea, the GSL and the GSL-SE came with power windows, no power locks. some came with power steering.

 

No 1st gens had power sunroof. No power locks either. Just power windows and mirrors in the GSL and GSL-SE models. GSL also gave you a better stereo, with 4 speakers, Cassette, and an equalizer. My GSL also has cruise control, I don't know if all GSL's had it. Some GSLs had power steering......not sure if all SE models had power steering or not.

 

I am sure Cody is correct; no 1st generations had power locks.

 

speed dependant variable power steering assist was an option starting in 84 for a gsl and gsl-se

 

these are what i know of

power windows
power steering
power hatch popper and gas door popper
power side mirrors
power brakes

uhh and you can get custom kits for power door locks with keyless entry...
