power loss and throttle stuck

power loss and throttle stuck

Hello every one i recently put up racing beat's cat eliminator pipe put the egr block plate on a capt an disconected the hose from the egr to the black vacum lines in center of motor. Well basically from 3000 to 5000 there is no power at all it creps but once in awhile it will kick n start gunning it but my gass pedal wont come back i have tightend canles for slack n lubd them any help would be great

Check your secondary spring on the carb. Search for "teeter totter" and you will probalbly find pictures of it...

thnx alot ken u were dead on the cable was off of it i ript it it spun up very well but throttle still got stuck if i adjust thats cable to make the spring tighter will that help with this problem or do i look elsewere

Hmm, not really sure why the throttle would be sticking. Make sure the oil feed lines are not interfering with the linkage at the front of the carb. Does it still stick when moving the linkage by hand, or only with the gas pedal (maybe bad cable or cable routing)?
