Power antenna question...

Ok as many of you know a few monthes ago my car was broken into, and stereo and speakers were stolen. Well the problem is that when they stole the deck the antenna was in the fully extended position.
How can I get it to go down!?!?! its damn iritating and is going to get broken if it stays up.
Any tips would be great!!

Not sure if this would work, but if you grab it at the base and slowy try to push it back in it might go. Not sure about it though, worth a try.

nope - that'll jam the cable inside the mast and cause the antenna to kink or break.

The antenna works on positive ground. If you can hook it up to receive 12V power with a switch so you can select the direction of current... if you hook it up backwards at first it should just stall in the up position, and you flick the switch and voila, down she goes...

Mine was negative ground, but two positive leads. Hooked up one to constant 12V, and one to switched (antenna out lead on deck, or a switch hooked up to 12V +). Turn off the switch, only one wire gets power, and it goes down. Turn ON the switch, both wires get power, it goes up...
