Power Antenna Info

Power Antenna Info
Ok,... Here's what I have..
85 RX-7 GSL-SE
Stock head unit, (the 3 piece one with the EQ)
Aftermarket Power Antenna.
1 "Regular" Relay
By the rear of the hatch there is One 3 pronged Clip which seems to have one turn on and off with the radio and power, one ground, and I don't know what the third does...
...Plus I have a seperate 1 one wire clip right next to it. (I dunno what that one does either )
I hate asking what may seem dumb questions, but most of the searches I've done come up with aftermarket radios & factory antenna's, not the other way around.
I also looked in the Haynes manual, and it doesn't state any wiring info for the 84-85 Radios and antennas.
I want to make the aftermarket Power Antenna work properly with the stock Radio. Perferably to go down with the power off as well..
Any specific ideas how?
Relay wiring?
Thanks in advance

Not That Anybody freakin helped...
But I finally found my answer here:
Fully Automatic Power Antenna (Better than Stock)
Link is now dead.^^^
It works better than stock. Now the antenna goes Down
with the radio off, cassette in, or ignition off.
In other words, it is ONLY on when the Radio is on.
As it should have been in the first place.
By the way, I got the Antenna for $19 bucks at Radio Shack,
they are on special for 50% off the regular $39.99 price.
Well, hopefully this will answer somebody else who might
run into the same crapola.

You didn't give anyone much time to reply you know. 3hrs? Yes the radio shack is a pretty easy bolt in. Its noisy like the stock one, but its no big deal. Be sure not to run the wire nesxt to any othe wiring harnesses, or you will pick up a lot of noise (i.e. alternator). If the wire must pass any other harnesses, try to make them cut paths at a 90 degree angle to be safe. The guys here are pretty helpful if you give them some time. Can't stay on the computer all day you know.

Hey dude, I had the same problem with the antenna. That single wire connector is for the defroster. The three-prong antenna connector has a signal from the relay, a positive connection, and a ground. I've got an aftermarket antenna and an aftermarket headunit in my car and I finally got it to work pretty well with the help of an extra relay.
