IF they're in the classified section here, you're more than welcomed to make a post asking

"Hey guys, I was looking in the classified section and I found these two cars

(insert links here)

I'm looking for a car that can do *this* and *this*. I plan to use the car for *this*. I am *this* kind of person with *this* much time to devote to the car. Can you guys please help me decide"

And we'll gladly help

Jon

which one, can't decide!!!!

okay, here goes...the 2 cars...

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=355047

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=282131

I want a daily driver (though i have a backup for dirty work)...

I plan on adding a body kit, so the difference in price will justify the added cost to paint the atlanta car...

I want something more or less "reliable"

emissions is not an issue in ontario, since cars 20 yrs or older are exempt.

seems to me the car in california was cared for much better than the atlanta car,

ca car, 130,000miles on body, atlanta car, over 200,000 miles

the atlanta car was not built by the guy who is selling it, so i am worried about help with the car, after the sale, where the other car was built by the owner except for the suspension

i want to add turbo to the car at some point

i hate the red interior on the atlanta car, and love the fact the california car has black interior and fd seats

yet they both seem like steals to me. what do you guys think...im ready to purchase now, and spoke to the atlanta guy today on the phone, have yet to speak to the other guy in detail about the car. thanks so much in advance for any replies...you guys rock...

i look forward to hanging out with u guys on this forum in the future, i have owned an 81, an 85, and an 88TII, and i just sold my honda crx to go back to my roots and get an "old" 7 again! can't wait

BAN HIM!!!!!!

J/K

Anyhow, I'd go with the Atlanta car. I don't like the idea of a low comp NA motor. Doesn't make much sense to me. Also the roll cage is a bonus as is the reconditioned front end steering components. The Atlanta car is also $1300 less, which gives you some wiggle room to spend if you need too.

so this motor is low comp cuz is "should" have the turbo on it, and since it has no turbo its a waste? i want to add a turbo to the car eventually...also the california car has the carb, that's a bonus right?

which car do you guys think would be faster according to the engine set ups?

what about this car?

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=314927

looks like he's gunna let it go cheap, he's already reduced the price to $3000

apparently the body looks ugly, and u sure can tell by the pic of the motor that its faded, and the guy is even standing on the fender!!!....but remember i'll be doing a paint job anyways..

so what do you guys think of this ALREADY TURBO!!! setup?

Well, changing interior color is a big PITA, so be ready to live with what you get. All 3 cars look like good cars. Lotta potential in all of them. If you wanted to go turbo anyway, then the one with the TII already in it and running would be easiest. You'd be saving the trouble and time and $ of doing this your self later on. HTH
