Post Your FMIC pics.

For those of you that have FMIC's, can you please post pics of your install. I'm trying to figure out where to put this big NPR IC.

Thanks

Luis

That thing is freak-normous!
Good luck, personally I would have choose one a little shorter.Im thinking your only option is going to be a sharp cant, to get the vertical down a bit.
Mine is only about 14" tall so it fits beneath the bumper and is exposed to the airflow, for the most part. The top is just barely below the bumper horns and the sides extend past the airdam walls a few inches,so I cut a notch in both walls, to slide the IC into.It actually sits on the "floor" of the airdam, and is located fore/aft by the notches,so there was no actual brackets or supports to build.Plus, its not removable without taking out the entire front airdam/bumper assembely,so its secure from pillagers.

those pretty slick set ups...and I agree that is a big 'cooler for a 1st gen...but it isnt that big...alot of GN guys are going to powerstroke intercoolers! Those things are bigger than the radiators!

I'll take a few pics of how mine is mounted but probably not what you are looking for as the IC is right back in the engine bay with the radiator directly behind it. It was done like this because the car was going to be used for drag racing and it would have prevented damage in the event of a crash.

Thanks for the input fellas. I might have to cut a few rows of this IC cause it's just way to big.

Lets see some more setups please.

Pics of mine wont really help you, since it's just a small one that fits over the FMOC. Whats it look like if you turn it over(upsidedown). I can see that it would be wide and fill the lower part of the bumper, trimming will probably be required to the bumper. This might give you the clearance to run piping. Just a thought
