...and if pigs had wings they'd be eagles.
I'm guessing most of those 75,000 will die natural deaths from age, rot and neglect due to ill-informed and/ or unappreciative owners. But they'll leave behind many useful parts for the rest of us.

Car had full roll cage most of the damage stayed up front. The transmission came through the tunnel and into the car. Rearend was bent in half from the driveshaft
Bent the steering wheel w/ my face. But the cage saved my ***!! 55-60mph t-bone

That is not your current ride I hope? Makes me want to put in a a full cage connected to the shock towers....though that might affect the crush zone they build into cars. Looks like the front did the job and sacrificed itself for you. Glad to hear you came out ok, was the harness on tight or loose?

I had 13 stitches from nose to above the right eye from the wheel, and broke nose. Huge bruises from harness, but the safty equipment did its job. As you can see it bent the wheel pretty good. I had my belts on but little lose. I was back to work on monday, happened on friday at lunch.
Salvaged the engine less front cover 12a turbo dist., and water pump
Lost my Ron Davis rad.
old school strut bar gone
But saved the whole front suspension
I had the car crushed into the size of a shoe box
My buddy, and I had the red car going in a under a month. Still need another cage, i didnt want to try my luck w/ that cage, just incase a weld was compromised. I dont daily drive RX7's anymore. I have a nice safe Saab to daily drive w/ lots of airbags.

im glad i dont have any pics to post at the moment, although i came close the other afternoon, not in the 7 but in my 66 fury, 150 km/h downhill, guy comes around blind corner and is in the wrong lane and he managed to swerve back out, me and my friend would have been gone...it doesnt even have seatbelts.

Well here's my contribution. Brother wrecked his car turning out of a busy shopping centre which has no traffic lights (really stupid has been so many accidents there).

PSHH! PSHH! HEAR ME NOW?

Ok guys. I think I've seen enough. This is making me sick. My wife keeps telling me not to go to Deals Gap, because she doesn't want to raise our baby by herself. Not because of the bad drivers out there, but she knows how I drive. I don't always know where my limits are. It wouldn't be the first time I wrecked a car by pushing it too hard. Thats why the 7 has had less than 1k miles put on it in the last year. I have a "safe" BMW as a daily driver. Glad to hear no fatalities, yet.
