Possible solution for more steering angle (5 lug luv)
So this solution will only work for the FB's that have the FC 5 lug conversion that respeed currently is offering (thanks billy!!!)
So modifications can be made to the knuckle (permanent) that can allow you more steering angle. A company that i know of is prototyping this setup (very reputable company) Powered by Max for those who have heard of them. I Just emailed them and talked to dan down there, and he said this.
So once they finish testing, and decided to approve there design. i will be picking this up for my FB. hoping that i can get more angle. I will personally be the test dummy for you 5 lug guys
Just for your those wondering. the difference:
This is measurements from there S13 angle kit...but you get the idea.
Static angle as measured on our shop guage from center to lock :
MAX Super angle kit = 1.25 turns & 50 degrees
OEM = 1.5 turns and 36 degrees
I guess there going to be testing this out at the All Star Bash Nov 28th i believe. if everything goes ok, i think it'll be approved for sale. I hope it is.
