porting prices

How much does it normally cost to get each port job done? Does porting require an aftermarket carb, intake, exhaust?

250 and up, in addition to the rebuild. Sterling is doing Nikkis for street ports, iirc. Exhaust is the 1st mod, stock.

Well 250 and up depending on what kind of porting you are getting, and who you are getting to do it. If you wanted a huge custom P-Port done by Racing Beat offiously its going to cost more than Backyard mechanic Joe down the road...

You are going to pay for quality of work, as well as the difficulty of the porting. Personally I say just do it yourself, just make sure you use a template and practice on spare irons first.
