Uh no. Why would you think that? What would possess you to think someone would go to the trouble of making an already low torque rotary into an absent torque rotary? It didn't even sound like a single rotor engine for pitty sake.

Wow, where did that come from?

To me, it sounded like a Weber on a cold rotary just firing up in the morning.

wasnt there some sorta single rotor engine made? didnt have a radiator or anything. sorry i was a lil lost on my question lol

Yeah, it had some sort of 'charge cooling' which was air blown through the rotor to cool it instead of oil. I think they were for snowmobiles or something.

I don't think Mazda ever made any production single rotor engines. NSU did. It was in the Spyder. Peripheral port too. The port was small and streetable.

Mazda didn't have any production single-rotors. They did use a single-rotor 40A for testing. A German company called Sachs made single-rotor aircooled engines in the 70s. The Sachs 303 was used in one model of Arctic Cat snowmobiles if I remember right. I think the Suzuki RE-5 also had a 500cc PP one-rotor. Citroen had a 500cc single-rotor in the M35.

Those are all of the ones I can think of.
