Plug up air box

Hello all rx7 masters, I just remove little flapper and tape up the 2 holes. My question is can I plug up all the holes on the bottom of the air box? And what can I use to plug the 2 vacuum line on the passenger side of the air box that on the engine itself. The rest i use tape and plug. Thanks for any inputs.....

I did. I took the whole thing off, cut the tubes with a hack saw, filled them with jb weld on the top and tape on the bottom. When it cured I took the tape off. I haven't had any problems yet, but just wait... If I was wrong to do that, someone will be here to verbally abuse me for it. (and hopefully with good reason)

Also if your talking about the vacuum line on the intake manifold. JB weld and a screw to fit.

I tape off all the holes on the air box. Then plug all the line back in. What if 1 of these foil tape get into an engine, will that cause any damage?

Possibly? The vacuum plugs alone should be enough to hold if they are the right size. I took the air box off the car and let the JB weld cure overnight, then remove the tape, which is just keeping the JB weld in place. But like I said before, wait for a good response, not just me being bored and posting what I have done.
