Please relate to this hot start problem

My '84 12A usually starts right up cold. I let the oil pressure rise then back out of the garage.

When the engine is warm it can fire on the 2nd crank then die. I'm wondering how this pertains to engine wear, ring seepage, etc...

I have a buzzing from the left side of my dash. I notice this when the car is warming up, when the weather is cold, pretty much most of the time I'm driving. Been told that could be my "hot start assist"

Any comments on why my car misfires during the cranking?

Leaking fuel inlet valves or float level too high causing flooding would be my guess. The fuel evaporates overnight, so the motor starts right up on the choke in the morning.
