Kinda like a Miranda warning for posters, huh? Sounds fair enough to me and it doesn't hurt to remind folks from time to time about the rules.

One question, what's the F-word?

Maybe include a reminder about no cuss words in the title of a thread. I know it's in the "big rules" of this website, but some people forget. It's also worth pointing out that the rules are there for a reason - they reflect the harsh lessons we've learned over the last 3+ years, especially the carnage caused by the almost-forgotten Flame Wars.

Ah yes, ancient history 101..

I was at 99 posts when I saw your post. Aching to hit triple digits, I picked your post to respond with some useless comment. In short, I post-whored.

disturbing....

Oh and good post Carl, although most of those rules are kinda common sense/courtesy, but good nonetheless. I seem to recall post whoring my *** off when I was nearing 1000, gotta have that sweet custom user text, its all about the custom user text

I love it when a good intentioned thread degenerates into post whoring and innuendoes.

As for the rules, they seemed straightforward and appropriate to me. We've got the best section of the board here, and those rules will help keep it that way, IMHO.

PS: Put some pants on Sterling. I need to get that mental image out of my head (shudder).
