i have a million questions lets start with baisics. my husband and i have put a 85 rx7 12a engine in his truck!it has cranked before when we first put it in with bare nessecities hooked up when we got it running it would stay running for a few mins. since we have finished hooking everything up . it wont start. we pulled it to pop the clutch got it running but if we let off the clutch or gas it would die found an intake leak fixed it and still nothing now a friend is saying may be spark plugs not getting hot enough. any ideas would be extremely helpful, need any more info to help just ask we really need it. my husband shop is relocating and we only have a week to get it running so we can move it thank you for all help recieved

 

I read your other post, need more details on the setup, i.e., which carb/intake, fuel pump, fpr, etc. Posting pics on the engine bay might help too.

In my sig line is a link to the FSMs so you can check the ignition wiring and make sure you have it correct.
