I hope one day my car could find itself up here. I dream of a RENESIS swap... of course I'm only 18... (only?)
Plenty of time to figure out the cost/wiring/how to obtain an engine and etc

My fav RX-7? The Gunn High Auto Tech Red and White RX-7

See it here... http://www.gunnautotech.com/projects...rx7/index.html

That's the factory Mazda RX-7 racecar that won IMSA in 1979. So unless you have an in with Mazdaspeed, you're SOL.

No, it was a GSL-SE turbo with a Dellorto sidedraft. But who knows... maybe the current owner swapped a 302 in it, though last I heard the car was in Ft. Lauderdale and the owner completely rebuilt the whole car and put a nice ported NA 13B (he bought it engineless). The suspension is a stock SE with redrilled hubs & discs and TII lugs.

The second exhaust was installed by a muffler shop who simply tapped into the existing exhaust and made some new hangers. The rear skirt already came with dual cutouts.

Someone asked about the spoilers: I know Kaminari made at least the side skirts and maybe the front but they've been discontinued. Someone in PR is making copies of those spoilers and they seem so show up in a lot of FBs and FCs in the Orlando area. There's a member here with a bluish-grey FB in his sig with the same front spoiler; maybe he knows?

Ok, maybe I am just different, but this reminds me of a bastard child between a FB RX7 and a Frontier.

Here's mine.

It needs some body work, but that's why it's a project.

The dual exhaust is pretty simple. It looks pretty stock until after the rear muffler. On mine, the muffler exits with 2 outlets. One goes straight out into the passenger side exhaust tip, and the other goes off to the driver's side.....in a straight pipe hidden in the rear fascia, to the driver's side tip.

Essentially, it's functional, as both exhaust tips flow, but its not true dual exhaust.

If it's setup as you describe, the pipe on the driver's side is flowing next to nothing. Put your hand close to the exhaust while it's running, you won't feel any pressure.
