Is the engine shaking or are you hearing a popping noise?
Their should be no need to change the timing.

its not shaking. i hear kinda a deep poping sound at the header. the engine starts smooth and after afew sec. it wil miss and abuot every sec and a half it will miss. at first it was missing bad and i found a bad ignitor to L1 i changed that and every thing is geting spark. butt it has a small miss still. i'll re check all the vac. lines when i get home

Check for exhaust leaks also. A small amount of popping is normal. That is unburned fuel in the header.

Did you replace the plugs or are you still running the old ones?
