Plastic got on exhaust

Plastic wrapping stuff got on my exhaust, and now my car smell like **** everytime i stop!!! Would the plastic stuff just melt off later? Or would it stay there?

It'll eventually burn off BUT it could catch fire...so be careful.

Scrape off what you can to reduce any fire hazard. I would think the rest will decompose and the odor will diminish accordingly.

this is kind of a wierd question, its kinda obvious that its going to melt to the exhaust and it could be a fire hazard. Someone trying to bump up thier post count? Get that **** off your exhaust with a exacto or something and the rest will burn off.
