Has anyone seen the CD-Rom repair manual for the
83-84 on ebay??? I ordered one and its just a burned copy in a plastic sleeve!!! It contains pdf files that appear to be pages from a manual that were scanned in and copied to disc. The seller's id is sselectauto and his feedback history is TERRIBLE. Unfortunately, I didn't look into that until after I had won the auction...

Does anyone know what format these cd-rom manuals SHOULD come in? Shouldn't there be photos, etc???

Yea this topic went around the SA22 mailing list last year. I think he actually stole K. Wrights hosted copy off the web and is making $ off it. Look in the FAQ sticky for links to the online manuals.

Yeah. i donwloaded the manual off the net. All it is, is the manual from mazda showing the parts and numbers.

It could be argued that since Mazda doesn't sell them to Rx-7 owners, that it falls under the educational clause of fair use. Especially since we are most assuredly using it for educational purposes.

This is definitely Mazda's intellectual property though, and selling it is almost assuredly against copyright law.

Beyond that - things get complicated, so I took the "easy" path.
