ping from headlight
when the right headlight of my 80 rx-7 goes down every other time, i hear a ping. something like a spring getting tweaked. what thought does anyone have? also, the rods are good and greased.

It IS a spring. Take off the Headlight cover
and see for yourself. Make sure the plastic ball joints
are all in working order, on both sides of the metal arms.

they are in working order. now that you mention it i do remember a spring when the light is removed. i'll look into that. thank you!

yea it hold the light case so you can have the 2 ajustment screws
