(pics) update on my car - Musashi

As I said on an earlier thread, newly re-rebuilt engine was dropped in last weekend. After working out a few kinks, it was back on the road on Monday! it was off the road for exactly a month. One of the kinks was leaking oil lines to the newly installed SE oil cooler (to replace the beehive). So I bought steel braided oil lines from Mazdatrix and got them installed:

So to summarize, streetported engine, high temp silicone vacuum lines, SE oil cooler, Bonez intake system, doubLe alt pulley (though not used at this time, but it looks cool ), yohoo belt, fresh tranny installed:



Last mod in progress, due in 3 weeks: rebuilt carb with modified jets and venturis from rx7carl

musashi huh... as in the greatest swordsman of all time? have you seen the three set movie about his life? i have them let me know if you want a copy otherwise hella nice engine you got there

Yeap named after Musashi Miyamoto. I have seen the 3 movies, and own a copy of the Book of Five Rings written by him, thanks anyways

wow thast a beautiful engine man!!! clean up the sides of the engine bay to make it match that beautiful engine block!!

how much did you pay for the braided oil lines?

I shoudl get some!

Thanks. I'm in progress on cleaning the sides of the engine bay.

The braided lines are $103. Not bad being that each of the stock ones are like $80 = $160.
