Siboire.. it's a word that we are "supposed" to use in the religion... BTW, nobody use it the right way... I cannot be 5 min without hearing a Calisse or a Crisse or a Sacrament..

Hoo... Manntis, Yesterday night i signed up my account on paypal.com because I ordered the shift boot on rotorhead.ca, but with what i've read, i won't be able to order the shift boot since i will have my activation member number on my credit card for the paypal account. It's a 4 digit number if i remember, so i can not order it before i have completed my account on paypal? right ?

Max,
I have a Black Magic. It makes practically ZERO difference. Taking the fan off entirely makes ZERO difference. Will and I have tested this out. E-fans are nice, but they DON'T free up any significant horsepower.
BTW, Rotary-Rex is correct. Didn't the RB Facet Pumps that Will had on there die? What fuel pump is on there now? If I'm right I think it's the fuel pump from Will's 83 parts car.
If that's the case, you need a better fuel pump right away, first priority. Don't go around flooring the throttle for very long without one, or else you will be running lean. Not good.
As well, I would get rid of that shitty Purolator fuel pressure regulator you have on there. It restricts fuel flow.
What you want is a Carter 7psi Street/Race fuel pump, and a Holley 4.5-9psi fuel pressure regulator. Don't wait on this - this should be the FIRST thing that you do to your car. Trust me, you need this, it's very important. Worry about shift boots and tinting later.
Oh, BTW, not to diss you or anything, but I hate it when people list NGK spark plugs and wires as "mods" LOL. They are the stock Mazda specified parts - how are they mods?
Also.... I'm not trying to diss you, again, but you should be aware that those Radial T/A's are going to suck very badly compared to the *excellent* AVS Intermediates that are on there now. They are pure garbage compared to those Yoko's, which are very very sticky. If I were you, I would *not* put cheap tires like that on a very light 150hp FB like yours. Trust me, a light rear-drive sportscar needs all the tire it can get, especially in the rain, and those tires are not appropriate to the performance of your car in my opinion.

the problem silverrocket, is that i had to put these on the car because i didn't have the choice, the tires that were on the car were finished and at the federal inspection, my car failed because of the tires, i had 24 hours to find some decent tires.. and i had a good price for them...

I checked a little bit, for a carter fuel pump, is 69,99$ seems to be a good price for a 7psi strip/race fuel pump?
If i'm wrong, then, correct me lol or give me an web url where i can order the fuel pump.

Max,
$70 sounds too cheap, are you sure that's the right one? The usual price for the Carter is about $120. It's made by Federal-Mogul, so you can get it at most parts stores (Princess Auto, etc.) Your local speed shop should be able to order it.
The pressure regulator should be about $50.
Don't worry about a guage - 99% of them are not accurate at the pressure you need, and you don't need it to tune anyways.
In the springtime when you want to install and tune this stuff, feel free to ask for advice. I've done all this stuff on my car and I have almost the exact same setup as you.
About those tires, I understand, but I were you I'd try to maybe sell those and find some better ones. Look at the new Yokohama AVS ES110 (I think that's what they're called). They are sticky and inexpensive. I honestly wouldn't run any less than that on your car. Otherwise, you will have to be *very* careful in the rain. I know you don't think it'll be a problem now, but trust me, these cars are a handful in the rain without good tires. Remember, your car has much more power, and weighs much less, than when it was stock. You need better tires IMO.
This is just my opinion, but if I were you and I only had $400 to spend, I would forget about all this shift ****, tinting and stereo stuff. Concentrate on what's important to set up your car properly and make it safe, and then worry about cosmetics.

make sure you get the right FPR, the 4.5 - 9 psi one mentioned above may not work the best with a Dellorto carb. Holley also makes a 1-4psi model. I really don't know which one your carb calls for.
I got my carter at summit:
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=9879
They also stock FPRs

The 4.5-9psi FPR is the correct model. Do not buy the 1-4psi one. The correct pressure for your carb is 4.5 psi as given by Racing Beat.
Again, let me know if you need any help setting the right fuel pressure - I can show you how to get it dialed in. (you don't set it with a gauge).
And don't order from Summit - you'll pay through your *** for shipping and brokerage, duty, etc. You can get the FPR at any speed shop, it's a very common item, most places have a bunch of them in stock.

Ok, the shift **** is paid, the pedals too, so it's not a problem, the tinted windows, i'll get them for christmas, maybe i could ask for the fuel pump at the place.. could be a smarter gift lol.. You're right, i don't have more than 400km on my new tires, i'll try to sell those at spring, but it will not be easy... In my region, theres nobody that have a sportscar on 13inch rims... I'll give you some news for the FPR and the fuel pump.
Thanks

Smart man You're learning well!
Yeah, it's about $120 CAN.
I've got nothing against tinting, hell my windows are 15% in front, 5% in back (Though I'd suggest not going that dark, it's really hard to see when backing up at night.) You just gotta get the important stuff taken care of before that.
I think they make the new Yoko's in 13's, it'd be easy to check... I've got 14inch wheels so I haven't looked. Those would probably be the best choice for the price, they're quite a bargain. Either way, you can certainly do better than those T/A's. I'm not trying to tell you what to do though man, just that I think good tires are really vital on our cars. I wouldn't suggest that you go to trouble of selling your tires, if I didn't think it was really important.

you're right man!! I totally agree with you, my dad paid the tires because i didn't had the cash for them. I don't have the choice to run them until it's paid. Yesterday night, i told my dad that i have to change these for my security, i think he didn't see the point like us, and he was frustrated. I think he thought that i was telling him he made a mistake of buying these cheap tires...
LOL BTW, i will wait for the tinted windows.
I'm young, and i have a lot of time to mod this car! :P

My poor car lol. You're painting the interior? I just put that black interior in there! The Facet pumps died a couple weeks before I sold the car, so it has an 82 stock pump right now. It's fine if you dont floor it for more than a few seconds, but a new pump would be a good idea.
About the weight reduction people where asking about on the 1st page, I removed most of the tar/mat **** (not in the rear hatch), all the heavy sound mat carpet material around the car (including firewall, doors, bins, hatch). Also removed the door panels and replaced them with stretched cloth (looks suprisingly good), removed the rear bins and everything associated. That's all I can think of right now lol.
The bucket full of tar is heavy enough... 30+ pounds (I kept it to show people lol). If I where to throw all the interior stuff that was removed into a pile and ask you to pick it up, you'd probably have your work cut out for you... this stuff isnt light lol.
Let's not even get into how much weight was saved by getting rid of the Nikki and all the crap that goes with it.
I'm glad you're enjoying the car Max... I'm sure it's better off with you then sitting in my driveway. I would have loved to keep it, but I just didnt have enough room in the garage... the Savanna and FD take up all the place lol.
BTW, the car still has the crappy oil cooler because after the turbo engine came off I just used that 12A while planning my 13B swap. Wankel FD RX-7 actually got an SE 13B with that car for free. Stupid, stupid me lol.
