pics from last weekend at Road Atlanta

Here are some pics I took from last weekends race. The first few pictures are our cars. #07 (usually 67) Is our IT-7 car and #40 (usually 10) is our EP car. we had to change our numbers because we registered late and someone else got our #'s.
In our IT-7 car we had three races, 2 Pro-IT's and a ECR we placed second in both of the IT Races and 4th in the ECR. Our EP car placed Second due to some technical difficulties.
There are some pics of some awsome cars there. check them out.

Mike,

Nice shots!

Do you remember if the yellow RX-7 with the 3rd gen bodywork on it was a GT-3, or a GT-2 car? I can't make out the class designation.

He was GT-3. That thing is awsome. It has the most amazing sound. I didn't run a watch on him but he has to be damn fast because he passed that awsome looking silver porsche. Although some one told me that the guy in the porsche was scared of it. He said he put 100k in that porsche not including the purchase price.

When they sell cars like that Porsche, they only care if you can pay for it, not if you can drive it. Of course, if he's a new driver, I could see where driving that car on a track like Road Atlanta would be intimidating. That's definitely diving into the deep end to learn how to swim.

Those bridge ported motors they run in GT-3 do sound cool.
