i think that enough air gets in around the light it self, that as long as the duck is not sealed to the scoop, that you should be fine with the lights up

The body kit is a mariah mode four. On the 1st gens
a fixed headlight system would have to sit way back
in the fenders.I like the look of the 4 light projectors
but i've heard that they are not that great for seeing...
A mod i've been thinking of,,is take the round headlights
out and replace with the squares. A square light bucket
and the plastic suround would be required ,,adapt one
from another car ,or fab. it from scratch..I make the light
lid vents for $ 10.00 unpainted... Interested ??? pm me..
Good luck on the design manntis. keep us posted .
Oh,,,and thanks for sticking your neck out for us 1st genners, on the stickers. you never know, untill you try.
They come out of the woodwork,,huh..and thanks for
the prompt refund,,I would have let you keep it for your efforts. man.....

Would taking the popup headlights out reduce weight very much?

Doesn't seem like it would, but it could free up some space in the front. I dunno what for, though.

Oh yeah it would be a great advantage! Get some weight out of there thats infront of the wheels, get rid of the 500 wires that are for the headlights and make more room for my intercooling tubing

I was thinking of making a set for myself (like a lot of people here in the 1g section) but I'm too lazy. Let us know when you have them done and of course, price

And without the Driving Lights on the bottom of the front bumper, he wouldn't be able to see squat.

A good friend of mine worked with him (Romeo) in his shop in NY.

Yeah I guess, but aerodynamically you guys are missing the boat... The most air that can be forced into the radiator is that big flat area right in front of the car, right before that big flat thing called an A/C condenser and the radiator.. Theres a shitload of air forced into that small area, save yourself a lot of time and frustration and just run an air intake up there... Drill a hole and run the hose through, fab some sort of an air horn and away you go....

That and directly in front of the base of the windshield, thats the two highest pressure points. Now if you removed the headlight and left the motor in the up position and ducted an intake up there, that would be some good pressure, but your minus a headlight!
