On the lighter side, and just to be a smart ***, Find a New Barber. Glad to see you are still moblie. I can't believe the tow lot wants 150 a day for storage. That's like tripping old ladies down the steps to steal thier subsistance check.

That sucks that you didn't get a chance to take the engine out. I would've paid the 150 per day for just one day

That's all it would take.

But take care, again.

Thanks for the support everyone. Yea the impound lot is also a police impound lot, so it's a pain in the *** to see the car, they have to take ID, and stand next to you the whole time.

I did walk away with one thing from my car, the side badge that said Mazda RX-7

sad part is that half of the "M" is broken off.

what are you going to replace the wreck with? and now you have a "good" reason to have a fast and furious paul walker buzz cut.

not that I would suggest that you buy a mini, check out this link for entertainment:

www. mini.ca

I'd believe that ad like I'd believe that the whip weilding dominatrix is a genuine spam ( the pork by-products spam, not the internet kind) gorged english woman

and from the pics i have seen of FB's getting in to wrecks they have not looked good. that is why i have a cage in my car and every1 else should also if you plan on doing any kind of dumb driving in the street... ie racing, drifting, running for the cops,

glad to see you are ok tho man sucks about your car being dead.. but atleast you are in CA where all the old cars are rust free and NICE

Damn man, that sucks! Least you came out of it semi-okay. I feel bad for you losing your 7. It sucks that our cars are also so low-slung that no one can see them sometimes. Nearly had been in a T-bone accident myself with a pickup truck (him at fault) had I not seen him coming blindly between two cars and yanked my steering wheel to the right. *I* would've been broadsided.

Glad to hear you're doing fine, please tell us you'll be getting another 7 to play with.

40 - 50 mph from a truck at least 2x the weight of the Rx-7. It doesn't seem like unreasonable damage.

Unfortunately, when you're the smaller car in an accident, you usually loose.

you should take what you can from that car...put it into your next fb...and then bury it half out of the ground in a side lot somewhere as a memorandum...

thats utterly brutal. the most important thing is that you are ok. it sucks losing the car to an impound yard. there will be other 7's in your future. a few guys on ohiorotaries lost their 7's in the past couple of weeks. spring is not turning out to be a great time for the FBs'. i keep mine put away until may. no chances of weather causing an accident. as for other drivers, that a whole different story altogehter..

they sold almost a half million FBs, so there's quite a few to go.

Glad you are ok. Accidents suck, hopefully you can pursue something with insurance.

I have to say this though...

"Man, you got knocked the **** out" lol. Gotta find some humor in it - makes it easier, at least for me when bad **** happens.
