picked up a few different parts for my 81

picked up a few different parts for my 81

was in the local pick 'n pull today, and came across an 81 and an 81 GL, so since I was looking for an extra engine to rebuild, another carb, a shifter ****, and a few misc parts that the prev owner of my car decided to delete off for no reason, I decided to go for it.

so all in all, I got:

Complete engine out of 84 (carb to exhaust manifold), alt, a/c compressor (since mine is long gone), a few a/c lines, carb off of 81, seats out of 84 (decent shape, better than mine) trans out of 84 (manual), and few other misc items (hot start actuator, misc emissions hoses that were missing off of mine after the rats nest was removed)

turned the engine over after I got it home, the compression sounded good, won't know untill I get an compression gauge there to test it.

I know that on the front rotor of my engine, one of my apex seals has a 1/4" chunk missing out of it. so this engine that I picked up today, will most likley be going into my car for now, while I rebuild the one that is in my car right now.
