NM Picked up an 85 GS for $500

Well I just picked this up. It just needs a fuel pump and a slave cylinder to be driven. then its gonna need a new turn signal switch and fuel door popper switch and rear tail light cover on the left side. Along with a left side rear glass by the hatch. Motor was rebuilt with 2000 miles on it now, and has been sitting since 04.

Finally got one eh? Go out to the Pull and Pay to look for that glass and switches. There's an 84 and an 85, both in decent condition. Make sure you post in the local New Mexico forum here too!

Haha yup! It took a little while but patience paid off, hey If you have any spare 12A or just First Gen stuff in general let me know cause you never know what I might need/desire lol. And I would love for you to come take a look at it sometime. Is your number still the same cause I have a new one.

And lindahlish, thanks! Once I get it running around I'm gonna start making some exterior changes, probably after the summer, so keep and I out .

Yeah you can see that it was originally blue, but whoever did the yellow paint job sucked horribly. They sprayed the insides of the pop up lights so the back has a little bit of yellow over spray. The interior has a few yellow spots on the sides of the dash closest to the doors, and the side molding is gone on the driver side and its just a big stripe of the original blue there lol.

Cool kencunm Ill shoot you a text soon and I'll be posting mostly in the NM thread. O mine came with the louvers for the hatch too but it seems to be missing the mount on the left side for the arm that holds up the glass and I assume that the louvers connect to it as well??
