Does anyone have a pic of a nice first gen, maybe lowered with wheels and a 3 piece spoiler? I found a clean 83 gsl for sale but it has a 3 piece spoiler on it. I have never been fond of spoilers on first gens but figured maybe it would look better if the car was lowered with wheels. The car is pictured below, original owner, 65k miles. The mud flaps deffinately gotta go too but The spoiler would leave holes.

 

John.. I'm not very fond of spoilers either. Mine came with the ugly whale tail when I bought it. When it came time to paint my car, I yanked it off and had the body shop fill in the holes. The one pictured above isn't as ugly as the whale tail at least. If it's nice and clean and meets your criteria, I'd say pick it up and worry bout the spoiler later. Nice 1st gens are harder to find these days. Buy it and bring it out to the beach BBQ later in 2 weeks! = )

IMO, out of all the spoilers I've seen, that design in the nicest. Adds a touch but is not overstated. DEFINITELY don't like the whale tail

Thanks for the info guys, I have been looking at pics of lowered rx7's with this spoiler and wheels and I actually like it........Unfortunately the car is now sold. I just called the guy and he said it sold awhile ago, he forgot to take the add down!!
