parts interchangability

we need a combined thread on this. what parts from other cars, or other gen 7s, will work on the fb with little or no mods? i've heard of using miata swaybars, and Kia Sportage front diff. gears. anything else swap over rather easily?

The Kia Sportage front diff is a direct swap to the 1st gen rear end as I understand it.

Fender flares for the 70's Datsun Z cars fit with a couple modifications.

Stock Volkswagen fender flares fit with some modification to give a slightly wider fender.

GM 105/140 amp alternator fits with a couple mods.

I'm currently looking into swapping a rear sway bar from an early MPV into the 7.

E-Fan from a ford taurus or escort or a Pontiac Fiero will fit with a little bit of cutting to the shroud and custom mount points and wiring. Not all that hard to do.

There are a few other things I know of, just can't think of them right now.

Every RX7 N/A manual starter should work on every manual trans from 79-91 AFAIK. "If it will bolt up it should work."
