k guys as u might know im stripping down my car (85 gxl 12A) to nothing right now and redoing all of it for race only , anyway heres a list of stuff i took off that work and i dont want to use, if u see anything u like pm me and ill send you pics of it and u name a price (try to be fair lol but i dont expect much at all, just as long as i make a tad after shipping charges)

1. alternator
2. fuel tank
3. front bumper
4. maroon storage bins (someone said they were aftermarket cause of the hinges)
5. water pump
6. distributor
7. spark plug wires, (plugs are black on the end so ill throw them in for free cause i dont know if that is normal cause i know our motors burn oil)
8. coils (both of them)
9. battery
10. fuel pump (stock)
11. windshield wiper motor
12. axle in near future but pm me if ur interested
13. hood (sanded and primed)
14. stock flywheel
15. two clutches one new the other slightly used

7. It's normal for old, used plugs. Not worth saving unless you plan on doing the ATF treatment


An 85 GXL? That doesn't exist so much. Maybe you're thinking GSL? Those are real. What kind of racing are you prepping for?

 

haha ya typo.. my bad its a gsl, im prepping for just drag only, my ultimate goal is a 9 second drag car but im not sure if this will be the one since i havent seen a 9 sec 12a (if you have plz show me), im doing a big port of whatever is best, ford 9" axle with good tires, all around suspension and brakes (already have disc in the back so that is a plus), the whole interior is gone, racing seats to be put in, custom dashboard, maybe a custom roll cage but i best let the pros do it for me , clean cut engine bay of just what in need to run it, N2O, turbo ported as well, front mount intercooler, **** emissions exhaust system, 3 gallon gas tank, and a bad *** body kit, new hard *** fuel and brake lines, battery relocation to interior, all new drivetrain stuff (all of it), best transmission i can buy, custom pexiglass windows all the way around..... long *** list and lots of $$$ huh, but thats pretty much my plans for everything, lots of stuff unmentioned cause its obvious i need it.

oh ya and one more thing the most important .... all the information ill get from this godsend forum

 

Good luck shipping that battery, USPS nor UPS will ship something like that.
