I have driven a car (savana enduro) that had the panhard to low. It would not turn in. So I know it is possible to go to low with the roll center on the rear. The suspension modeling I have done shows promise.

Forgot to mention about my post, that there was actually 2 versions of the SDJ, one which is supposebly a bolt on affair which i've personally never seen a picture of, and the second version is the one that i have posted.
From my observations over the last 10 years at SCCA National/Regional races looking at Production & Improved Touring road race cars there are way more Panhard Bar cars than Watts link cars. The Panhard is cost effective, simpler, lighter, adjustable & it works.
