SCCAIT7, if your road racing your car (dumb comment to a guy who has a IT7 car) you might want to analyze the tracks you run & select your Panhard bar accordingly. The rear roll center changes relative to turn direction. My tracks have important right hand turns therefore I bought a Panhard bar that attached to the chassis at the left hand side which will lower the rear roll center as right hand turns are made.

David - We have been looking at that since most of the kits...mount from RIGHT to LEFT... Right now we are trying to get some ideas on how to build one...from the mock of a kit!

ISC racing from FL had a 1st gen kit they sold that was in pieces that you could weld in either way.

The parts & the car are now gone so I can't measure.

Both the bracket for the axle & the main bracket for the chassis were made from 2 inch x 1 inch x 1/8 inch wall tubing. The diagonal round tube that went from the chassis to the low end of the chassis bracket was 1 inch O.D with maybe a 3/16 inch wall. There were two 1/8 inch thick x 4 inch long with a 90* bent legs that fit the frame dimensions at the round tube diagonal mounting at the chassis & for the main bracket attached to the chassis. The Panhard bar had IIRC 3/4 inch diameter rod ends. Make the lowest hole mounting for the Panhard bar to be at a level with the bottom of the rearend with say four adjustments upward.
