Painting Headlight housings...

Has anyone painted the housing that the head lights sit in? I am thinking about painting it white to match the car...

If you are unsure of what I mean... I am talking about the "black" surrounding the lights when they are up.... dunno...

I think the black looks better in contrast, but that's just opinion. I've seen 80's cars with painted headlight surrounds and it looks cheap.

White

My car was touched up and the overspray covered mine white.........ugly.........I swapped mine out for a clean black set........Both my sevens are white.....

yeah.... it would look way better black then anyother color......

and while we are on the subject of light shrouds...... i am thinking of makin light shrouds.... and make them where it has that sleepy eye look.... and I figured out how to make them stay half way up... when up... figured out everything...except... the lights....

andyhelp would be appreiciated...

ive done it too..car is white, surrounds are white..ill get a pic for you tomorrow...its a bit dark now
