Stupid question but did you remove any packing material that may have been in the header pipes blocking the exhaust????
Like I said, stupid question.....lol.
....also, what else besides the header install did you do????

alright im going to throw the metal one back on it was in pretty good condition for being 30 years old and there wasn't any in the box really but if there was its ash now the only other things i did was hook up a sub my buddy gave me but as soon as i figured my battery was dead i disconnected all of it and i removed the block off plate for the acv to put sum silicone on it because i never did when i put it on originally just put it on with the gasket but i put that back on and tightened it all up so it shouldn't be a problem besides that the only other thing ive done was

Dude, punctuation is your friend.
Check at the rear of the intake manifold. There is a metal tube there that everybody seems to forget about when removing the emissions (must be plugged or huge vacuum leak).

I thought i might of got a factory freak lol i scored one with my s4 vert it could smoke my buddys s5 vert and my 5th and 6ths ports were stuck. Maybe this one doesn't like the header i tryed to deflood it by disconnecting the fuel line and cranking it over a few times but no luck still. I pulled the plugs out and they were pretty black but i just got em new so i cleaned them up. One of my ignitors are probably bad cause when it was running i could disconnect the spark plug wire on the leading plug for the rear wire and it would still idle the same. I will definitely take a few pictures and put em up tomorrow mourning.

Alright theres a few pictures. I'm pretty sure i have all the vacuum lines down. but maybe i got sum thing wrong. I know i need a pcv valve to go from the crankcase to the carb but the one i had was cracked so i just capped it off till i get my next pay check. I put a picture of the car up also so you guys can see it i picked it up pretty close to my house for 500. Only has 85k and the rust is not to bad nothing not fixable at least. I plan on painting it this summer hopefully if i get it running well. Im thinking a midnight blue like on the 240z or a dark purple not sure yet

What did you disconnect on the carb (passanger side)? I only disconnected the solenoid for the ACV and it started right up when I did my removal. Any other pics?

I vented my a little diffrent... I can post more pics later if it might help
From the crankcase to a "T" going to carb vent and to charcoal canaster
From Oil filler neck and gas tank vent I left on the check valve. On the check valve there is two open nipples the top one went to nipple 4 from left (I think I can check) the one in you pic it has a hose coming from it between the blue caps. And from the bottom nipple on check vale to a hose then an adapter (so I can run a larger hose on the other side) to the nipple on intake.
Distrubter running a "T" to first nipple (what you have)
Here is the adapter I used...

Does the ground have a clean connection? Any pics of the other side of the carb?
