I personally have a RB header, stock pipe from there to the muffler, then my Apexi N1 that was off a FC.

I will be doing a custom pipe from my header to the N1 that is under the axle. I have heard that you can just go under not over. I will be using 2.5" piping! :)

If the exhaust is built properly, you can easily go over the axle. My sa has 2.25" over the axle, and my brother's with 2.5" is also over the axle. No issues, exept for when you hit a huge bump, the axle may hit the pipe.

If anything, I would say under the axle is more of a problem?

Why would the axle hit the pipe if the exhaust was designed to go over the axle in the first place? You would have to have some pretty soft springs for the axle to travel that high.

As for the original topic, I would suggest waiting a little longer, saving as much as possible and searching the 1st gen classifieds for used RB parts. You may hit a worthwhile FS ad and you'll be happy you did. I was nothing but shiteating grins after installing my full RB exhaust, and I still love how quiet it is at idle and how it roars with a fantastic tone at WOT. I paid a small fortune for mine (shipping & duties to Canada are a bitch) but it is still worth it.

I wound up ordering the powerpulse muffler and cat delete pipe today, I also go t a new mid pipe from the exhaust warehouse. Im hoping itll work out well.

Under the axle is way easier to make. I will be making my exhaust myself. I want it to be simple and easy. I have been told it works and it looks to me like it would so i am going to do it. It should also flow better because of less bends and kinks.

Wow what a bashing on the Pacesetter!
Sorry but I have to agree. Being an unequal length header, the frequency waves are somewhat obnoxious to the ears and don't have the correct pulses for the rotary engine.
