Overheated and rough as Guts.. URGENT HELP

I am in need of some serious advice...

I recently overheated my car on a long trip because (as I found out) it has a hole in the radiator and all the water evaporated.

I only had it tuned a week or two before this, and it was running sweet as and now it hardly starts and is rough as, bumpy idle etc, and just sounds fairly ill.

I am a student and don't have much money so any cheap DIY advice would be a blessing. Don't let my 7 stay sick

Doesnt sound good, any time a rotary gets overheated it usually (99% of the time) is bad. You could do a comp test to verify but it sound like you warped the housings, probably getting coolant into the chamber. I hope your luck is different but it doesnt look good. I wish you the best.

Did you let it overheat for long?

If so, you've likely fried your engine and that's the cause of your rough idle.

Chances are you need a new or rebuilt engine. You can do a compression test and report your findings. That will tell a lot. Another thing would be burning coolant. If you have a white cloud of smoke coming out the tail pipe then you are buring coolant, which would definately happen if you warped the housings.
