possum* if this is at all possible for you get a hose to go over ur exhaust and hold the end of the hose by the possums head,he'll be dead in a couple minutes, this is what we do when we catch skunks except their in cages and theres a bag over the cage to make it a lil easier

Side note: opossum and possum are both correct. You can verify this with www.dictionary.com: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=opossum & http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=opossum . Oh, and BTW, it's "brakes" not "breaks". ^^ Sorry, force of habit.

As far as getting it out, you could try baited traps or water. Loud noises more than likely wouldn't do anything but scare it to hide further into the car and poking it with a stick might make it attack you, and I don't think you'd care for a rabies shot, would you?

Trust me, it's more scared of you than you are of it, but if cornered they will bite. They are nocturnal animals, they feed at night. That might be the best time to get to the car.

With a BB gun, if you were to shoot it, at near point blank range, depending on how powerful that BB gun's pressure is, might make it sting a bit for the critter and force it into hiding. If you weren't able to hit it but hit the car instead, same deal as a noise, it'll just hide further in, possibly. That car is its hiding hole, a place it feels safe. So, getting it out with a gun, noise, or a stick, won't really work. I'd say get a garden hose and start spraying the entire underbelly of the car, or whever it may be hiding. There's not that many places it can hide that you can't get to, to where it'll give up and get out of the car.

Another option might be to call animal control and let them deal with it.

Man, that sucks, sounds like a messy mess. Atlesat your car wasn't hit by a deer: https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...1&postcount=92
You can try to jack the car up and shoot at it? With bb or pb gun or just savage it with a bat.

an airsoft gun would work good-

~300 fps, 6mm plastic bb's, full auto, semi, whatever you want. I bet they'd run away from a hail of stinging bb's.
